Team-based care has a long tradition in health care. Medmo, a 
medical imaging facilitation platform, closed $4M of additional financing to further accelerate growth. They are also adding more physicians to their advisory board.

PatientPoint announced results of a proprietary 
survey that reveals half (51%) of Americans are too afraid to ask about their health condition or symptoms and that they crave education to alleviate their anxiety. Six in 10 (59%) survey respondents said they wished their provider gave them more educational materials on their symptoms and nearly 8 in 10 (78%) said they wanted their provider to offer in-office technology showcasing relevant education.

Resilience Lab’s Vice President of People, 
Michele Moorman, has been named one of Crain’s New York Business Notable 2022 HR Leaders. The award is given to “professionals whose work surpasses the expected and whose accomplishments are both transformative and innovative.” Moorman advises the executive team on human resources and internal communications, and she leads diversity, equity and inclusion efforts for the company.

Synapse Medicine announced it is initiating an 
implementation study at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Vanderbilt University Medical Center to measure the effectiveness of its medication reconciliation software and clinical decision support solutions. The Synapse Platform combines real-time drug knowledge with patients’ clinical data to provide valuable insights to healthcare providers. Participants will use the point-of-care tools to analyze drug-related risks and optimize medication appropriateness.

Third Wave Recovery Systems (TWRX) 
announced the acquisition of SRX, a leader in pharmaceutical rebate management services for the skilled nursing and long-term care industry.

Tomorrow Health hosted its Leadership Council Summit on Oct. 13, with healthcare leaders convening to discuss trends and challenges in home-based healthcare delivery. The Shift to Value in Home-Based Care panel included Dr. Sachin Jain, Dr. Sandhya Rao, Phyllis Yale, and George Barrett, and it was covered in

Tuned, a 
holistic hearing care innovator, announced a partnership to bring medically-credentialed audiology consultation and advice to consumers looking to purchase hearing aid products on Soundly. This comes as the FDA permits the sale of over the counter hearing aid devices. MedCity News and Modern Healthcare talked to CEO, Danny Aronson, about the impact. announced new products to advance omnichannel marketing for life science brands. Crossix HCP Trigger Data connects consumers’ engagement with a brand’s website to their healthcare professional (HCP) visits. Crossix Omnichannel Boost provides a holistic view of HCP and patient engagement across field and promotional channels.

Yuvo Health, a 
technology-enabled administrative and managed care solution for community health centers, recently announced its leadership team expansion. Based in Houston are Chief Technology Officer Sujata Bajaj and Head of Product Dakisha Allen, while Head of Network Development Anthony Thompson and Chief of Staff Ishaan Jalan are based in New York City. Launched in January 2021, Yuvo Health was founded in New York City by a fully BIPOC team.
